Ellenor Argyropoulos

Ellenor Argyropoulos is a Greek-Australian writer, director, and creative technologist whose monthly rewatch of The Mummy sparked a lifelong love of filmmaking. She studied under Vilmos Zsigmond (ASC) in Budapest and has earned praise from George Miller, Bruna Papandrea, and Sam Neill. Named a Forbes trailblazer in AI for filmmaking, she’s spoken alongside James Cameron and Rob Legato for the ASC’s Motion Imaging Technology Council.
She’s worked with Michael Bay, created stage visuals for Simple Plan, and co-founded Mermaid Toast—a female-led creative studio and AI lab blending story, style, and tech. Her directing spans narrative, doc, commercial, and animation, all grounded in emotion and a deep love of cinema.
